R'lyehian Mausoleum

As part of a school assignment, I was tasked with creating a hero object. I chose to create a mausoleum with a Cthulhu twist. I started by blocking out initial forms in Maya, then taking the blocked forms to Zbrush for detail sculpting. Retopology and UVing was done in Maya, then taken to Substance Painter for texturing. I brought the object back to Maya to set up a basic scene with some lighting.

After the initial texture set, I decided to revisit the mausoleum, to give it a complete texture overhaul, and add the base and set elements to bring the hero object to life.
